Carol was contacted in April this year by Eva Mastoff a German freelance writer who asked Carol if she would mind if she wrote an article about Emerald Bears for “Teddy’s Creative” a magazine for makers of hand made Bears, so of course Carol said yes!

Carol heard nothing further until the editor of the magazine contacted her to ask permission to run a feature about Emerald Bears in the Christmas issue of the magazine "Teddy’s Creative”.

Of course she agreed and on Monday she received a beautiful full colour magazine that included four pages all about Carol and Emerald Bears mentioning Carol’s home town of Coleraine and surrounding areas Portstewart, Portrush and even mentioning the famous Bushmills Distillery and Finn McCool.

In the magazine there are colour pictures of Emerald Bears and a mention of Carol’s 10 day trek to Peru this year with "Action Aid"
The magazine "Teddy’s Creative” covers not only Germany but also most of Europe and features articles on Bear artists worldwide. We are as thrilled as Carol that she has been included and feel that all her hard work so far is now paying off.

Carol says that her inclusion on the Craft Fairs and Events website has helped Bear fans across the world know of Emerald Bears and that hand made Bears are now a global Bear business stretching from Mexico to Australia.
